The results are (almost) all in, and the 2025 Sweetheart City Car Show was record-setting in many ways.
This charity event is dedicated to supporting single moms and widows with their car care needs. This year, we served 38 clients referred by our local non-profit partners. During the event, we conduct vehicle inspections and perform light repairs. Thanks to our generous car care partners, we also provide oil change coupons from Loveland Ford, Loveland Buick GMC, Fort Collins Nissan, Take 5 Oil Change, and Metric Motors. Additionally, we offer car wash coupons from Champion Auto Wash.
Beyond the services we provide at our charity event, we recognize that many vehicles require repairs beyond our on-site capabilities. For these needs, we connect our clients with trusted local car care providers who assist in addressing urgent reliability and safety issues. Thanks to your incredible support, we raised nearly $32,000 this year! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who sponsored, donated, volunteered, registered, or purchased items at our event—you’re making a profound impact in our community!
The heart of our event remains the classic car show, which saw a record-breaking 218 stunning vehicles this year, by our closest count. We’re deeply grateful to all participants who shared their time, vehicles, and captivating stories, making this year’s show unforgettable.
Our goal is to create an event that’s more than just a car show—a fun, free, family-friendly experience for all. The inflatable water slides were a massive hit with kids, blessed by perfect weather. We welcomed back our incredibly talented face painter and introduced a magician who delighted attendees with comedy and illusions. Our DJ kept the energy high with classic car show tunes, setting the perfect vibe all day long. We distributed 140 goodie bags to children, with many more enjoying the festivities.
Now, we turn our focus to supporting our 38 clients with vehicle repairs to ensure their cars are safe and reliable. We’re also kicking off planning for next year’s event. Excitingly, one participant was so enthusiastic that they registered for next year’s event the very next day!
