🛻🚚🚛The trucks came out in force at the 2026 Sweetheart City Car Show on June 13 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Loveland! The category was very well represented, with an especially eye-catching parade of red trucks turning heads all day long. Congratulations to all the participants who brought their pride and joy to the show.
🥇1st Place: Repeat Champion! Dave Poortinga’s 1948 Diamond T
Dave Poortinga and his beautiful 1948 Diamond T Truck took home the top trophy once again. Dave claimed first place in the truck category in 2025 with this very same stunning rig, and he defended his title in style this year.
Dave wasn’t able to stick around for the trophy shots after the event, so we only captured this one great shot of this Diamond T beauty. But if you want to see more angles and details of Dave’s Diamond T, check out our 2025 blog here.
🥈2nd Place: 1955 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup
🥉3rd Place: Patrick Duffy’s 1967 Chevrolet C10
Huge congratulations to Dave, Dave, and Patrick — and to every truck owner who rolled in and made the category so strong this year. These classic haulers, pickups, and workhorses remind us why we love this hobby.
We’ve added plenty of additional truck photos from the show to the main gallery, so be sure to scroll through and enjoy all the red trucks (and the rest of the field)!
Thank you to everyone who came out, registered, and supported the Sweetheart City Car Show & Family Festival. Your participation helps make this free community event possible — and supports local single moms and widows through car repair assistance.
