2026 Results: Matte Black Demon Dominates the 1990-Present Category

💪🏋️The 1990-Present category highlighted some of the most powerful and impressive vehicles built in the last three decades. From modern supercars to heavily modified classics, this group represented the evolution of performance.

🥇1st Place: Tino Gonzalez’s 2023 Dodge Demon 170

Tino’s Demon 170 is a factory-built monster, producing 1,025 horsepower and 945 lb-ft of torque straight from the factory. As a Last Call Edition, it represents the final and most extreme version of the iconic Challenger platform. The car remains completely original, loaded with all its factory accessories, and finished in a menacing matte black.

This car is brutally quick — capable of running 0-60 mph in just 1.66 seconds and covering the quarter-mile in the low 9-second range. It’s one of the most powerful production muscle cars Dodge ever built and was designed from the ground up as a drag strip weapon.

Be sure to check out the photos below of this incredible machine with the hood open — it’s an impressive sight.

🥈2nd Place: Linda McClellan’s 1997 Chevrolet C5 Corvette Coupe

Linda McClellan earned second place with her heavily modified 1997 C5 Corvette Coupe. The car features a Z06 engine swap and a supercharger, making it a serious performer while still retaining classic Corvette styling.

🥉3rd Place: Richie Kuehn’s 2000 Pontiac Trans Am WS6

Richie Kuehn took third place with his 2000 Pontiac Trans Am WS6, a sharp example of late-model American muscle that continues to draw attention wherever it goes.

Congratulations to Tino Gonzalez, Linda McClellan, and Richie Kuehn on their strong finishes in the 1990-Present category!

Thank you to everyone who brought out their modern performance cars to the show this year.
