Topping the 1970-1989 category was Chuck Perry with his beautiful 1973 Plymouth Road Runner. This car is extra special — it’s a true one-owner vehicle, powered by its original 400 CI engine and finished in striking Candy Apple Red.
Chuck was clearly overjoyed with the win. From the moment his champion finish was announced, he kept repeating, “I never win!” His genuine excitement was one of the highlights of the show and a reminder of why we all love these events.

Chuck Canham earned second place with his sharp 1974 Pontiac Firebird Formula. This classic Pontiac brought strong styling and presence to the category.

Jeff Salmen took third place with his 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle. Equipped with a big-block 454, SS badging, and a 5-speed transmission, this car is a proper muscle machine that represents the best of the early ’70s.
